March 29, 2002
It's no April
Fool's - Scuttlebutt's Spring seasonal Mai Bock will be available on Monday,
April 1 at Scuttlebutt's in Everett.
Scuttlebutt's Mai
Bock is a crisp golden ale created to help celebrate the coming of Spring.
This beer was brewed with an extra measure of specialty malts resulting in
fruity esters and full-bodied flavors.
In years past,
Scuttlebutt's Mai Bock has been released on April 15, just in time to beat
those tax man blues. But this year's brew is too good to wait - no foolin'!
Come have a pint or pick up a growler to go.

Anthony's Olympic Ale is pouring now
at all six Anthony's Homeport Restaurants in the Puget Sound area.
"Anthony's Olympic Ale is brewed to be served with fresh oysters,"
says John Heidt of Anthony's Woodfire Grill in Everett. "It is a medium
brown ale that is buttery and smooth with roasted malt overtones."
Anthony's Nut Brown Ale, specially
brewed by Scuttlebutt's, is now on a nitro tap at Anthony's Woodfire Grill in
Everett. With a mild body, light nutty and chocolate character, the Nitro Nut
Brown is great with clam chowder or grilled white fish. Try some today,

Winter Weizen Makes Its
Seasonal Debut
November 14, 2000
Scuttlebutt's latest seasonal, the Winter Weizen, will be released on
Wednesday, November 15 at Scuttlebutt's Family Pub in Everett. Winter Weizen is
a dark wheat beer crafted in the dunkel weizen style. In addition to dark
crystal and white wheat malt, chocolate malt is mashed in during recirculation
to give a rich chocolate mouth feel. We "dry hopped" this seasonal ale
with zest from a case of oranges for eleven days, imparting a unique citrus
aroma. Undertones of molasses and a sweet citrus aroma make this a perfect match
for those long cold winter nights, and the chocolate and orange character are a
great holiday combination. Just say "Vinter Veizen"!
